19mm (3/4″) Metal Tip Ferrule for Walking Sticks

The 19mm (3/4″) Metal Tip Ferrule for Walking Sticks fits onto the end of compatible walking sticks and canes. It helps to improve comfort of use by absorbing some of the impact of the stick against the ground, and also protects the shaft from coming into direct contact with solid ground to increase longevity.

What Sizes are Available?

To accommodate a range of walking stick and cane types, the Metal Tip Ferrule is available in a range of sizes. These measurements represent the width of the ferrule opening, as seen in the images below. 

The following sizes are available:

• 13mm (1/2″)
• 16mm (5/8″)
• 19mm (3/4″) – This ferrule
• 22mm (7/8″)

How Does This Metal Tip Ferrule Attach?

It is recommended to use a hammer or another blunt-force style instrument to attach your Metal Tip Ferrule to your stick. This process ensures your ferrule is firmly in place and that it is correctly moulded to your stick.

In order to test whether or not your ferrule has correctly taken to the stick, simply press down heavily against the ferrule and see if it successfully takes weight without dislodging or moving.

Each ferrule has an approximate length of 23mm. Please note that the ferrule features a slight taper.
