These new dowel plates from Narex are made from A2 steel hardened to 61 HRc. The holes are machined with a slight taper on the underside to create a relief on the bottom and sharp edges on top that shears off the corners.
The Metric Dowel Plate makes 4mm to 16mm dowels in mm increments.
The Imperial Dowel plate makes 1/8″, 3/16″, 1/4″, 9/32”, 5/16″, 3/8″, 7/16”, 15/32”, 1/2″, 17/32”, 9/16”, 19/32” & 5/8″ dowels.
Approximtely 5.00” (127mm) long by 1.750” (44mm) wide and 0.275” (8mm) thick.
