One handful is approximately 100g. For most garden flowers, 50g (half a handful) will be enough. Sprinkle directly onto the soil around the base of the plant, fork gently into the soil and water well.
For best results, use twice during the growing season. To top dress whole flower beds, apply at a rate of 100g per square metre, lightly fork to cover and water.
