Super-Lightweight Design

All walkers in the Uniscan range are made to be as light as possible while still remaining sturdy but the Uniscan Freeway is one of the lightest, weighing only 5.8kg. 

Manual Locking Lever Brakes

This model of the Freeway Walker is built with manual lever brakes that can be squeezed to slow down while walking and features a lock function that acts as a parking brake. 

If you would prefer an automatic brake, the Freeway is also available with safety pressure-activated brakes, which can be ideal for those with limited strength. 

Narrow Build For Manoeuvrability

The Freeway 4-Wheel Walker is only 25 inches (63.5cm) wide, making it one of the most narrow Uniscan standard models. This makes it easier to manoeuvre and able to fit through most standard doors. 

For more narrow or wide walker options, have a look at the rest of the Uniscan range, with models as narrow as 23 inches (58.5cm) and as wide as 29 inches (73.7cm).

Take a Rest Anytime on the Built-In Seat

For someone with limited mobility, it can be a bit daunting starting a walk without knowing when you will get to sit down. This is not a problem with a Uniscan walker as every model in the range has an in-built comfortable seat. If you are using the walker and want to sit down, simply turn around and step back into the seat. The seat also folds away for convenient storage.

The Freeway walking frame is one of the lightest Uniscan models and as such, has no backrest. If you would prefer a model with a backrest, have a look at the rest of the Uniscan Range.

Includes Walking Stick Holder and Handy Caddy

Despite its minimalist, lightweight design, the Freeway Rollator still includes an attached walking stick holder and a under seat caddy with a cover that clip over. Ideal for trips to the shop.

This Freeway 4-Wheel Walker is available in four different seat heights: 17 inches (43cm), 19 inches (48.5cm), 21 inches (53.5cm) and 23 inches (58.5cm). You can select your desired height with the dropdown menu above before purchase.

Arrives at Your Door Fully Assembled

Some walkers arrive in several pieces which can be difficult to put together for anyone, let alone those with limited mobility. All Uniscan walkers are already fully assembled when they arrive at your door. They are ready to help you or a loved one get walking, straight out of the box.

Automatic Locking System 

All Uniscan waking frames have an in-built automatic locking system controlled by an easily identifiable red lever on the side. This is particularly useful for lifting or storing the walker.
